Download Driver Redragon M901 Wired Gaming Mouse MMO RGB LED Backlit Mice 12400 DPI Perdition with 18 Programmable Buttons Weight Tuning for Windows PC Gaming. I tested them all, the expensive number block mice from Logitech, Razer, Corsair, Roccat, etc., and in the end, I got stuck with the Reddragon that I bought for my wife. For me, the mouse is optimal in terms of ergonomics (relatively small compared to the competition) and has side buttons that are very pleasant to use. The pressure point is very good. Only the side buttons on the Razer Naga can keep up here. The ergonomics of the mouse are a bit better than that of the Naga, and with Razer mice, the double-click error occurred regularly after 2 years at the latest. The mouse turns one click into a double click. At Razer, the bug is known, but there is probably no emphasis on durability.
Redragon M901 Software Download & Quick Review
The Redragon has been working properly for us for over 3 years. I am only dissatisfied with the Redragon M901 software. This is only available in English or Chinese and makes reassigning the keys with a German keyboard layout for some special characters a pain. For the price, a 100% recommendation if you don’t have extra-large hands.
This Redragon M901 mouse is rightly very popular, which unfortunately also made itself felt in the price. A few years ago it was still available for around 35 euros.
Redragon M901 Cons:
- Prone to double-click syndrome
- Inadequate quality control
Redragon M901 Pros:
- Outstanding click quality on the front buttons
- Easy-to-use software
- The sensor is OK,
- Good cable
What a long-term user immediately notices: You have to replace the mouse or the pen every 2-4 years re-tension in the button (instructions can be found on the Internet). Unfortunately, all mice seem to be affected by this problem, including mice in the + € 120 category with “50 million click Omron” switches. So you have to live with it. I have also tried much more expensive mice in the meantime, but in the end, I always returned to this mouse after a short time.
I like the Redragon M901 mouse itself wonderfully, it lies greatly in the hand, and thanks to the weights it can also be wonderfully adjusted to individual preferences. The only real problem for me is that after half a year the right mouse button didn’t always work and I sometimes had to click multiple times. At first, it wasn’t that bad, but shortly afterward it went from having to click twice to up to 5 times before the button worked. Holding the button down and moving the cursor is now utterly impossible.
A wonderful mouse, if not as durable as I’d hoped. For me, this Redragon M901 is the best multi-function button mouse. I’m not a gamer and I don’t need the mouse for that either. I use them to assign recurring commands to the many keys. The Redragon M901 software is good and simple. The keys have a comfortable pressure point. I’ve tested many gamer mice and thanks to perfect customer service, I was able to send them back and then actually bought a second one from Redragon. Unbeatable for the price (it cost less than 50 euros at the time).
